James "Jay" Meehan is the President and CEO of BWC Solutions, bringing over 28 years of distinguished service and leadership to the body-worn camera industry. A retired federal law enforcement leader, Jay dedicated 24 years of his career to the United States Marshals Service, where he held key leadership roles and spearheaded high-profile operations at regional, national, and international levels.
During his tenure, Jay served as the Acting Chief Inspector at a National Intelligence Center and as Supervisory Inspector and Regional Coordinator for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF). After retiring from federal service, Jay transitioned to a federal contractor role, serving as the Body-Worn Camera Program Manager for the U.S. Marshals Service. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing the agency's national body-worn camera program. His responsibilities included overseeing the management of BWC footage from the Marshals and their task force partners across the country, ensuring seamless ingestion, storage, and compliance with federal standards.
